Ingredients:

  • 1 cup boiled cockroaches, cleaned and shelled
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup grated cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and minced garlic, sautéing until translucent.
  3. Stir in the mixed vegetables and cook for about 5 minutes until slightly tender.
  4. Add the boiled cockroaches to the skillet, followed by the heavy cream, vegetable broth, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a baking dish and top with grated cheese and breadcrumbs.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbling.
