Ingredients:

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the chicken thighs skin-side down to the skillet and sear for about 5-7 minutes until the skin is golden brown. Flip and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Add the grated parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, mixing until well combined and creamy.
  6. Return the chicken thighs to the skillet, skin-side up. Spoon some of the sauce over the chicken.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  8. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
