Ingredients:

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet skin-side down. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the skin is golden and crispy, then flip and cook for another 5 minutes.
  2. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the skillet to deglaze. Allow it to reduce slightly for about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream, thyme, and oregano, then bring to a simmer. Return the chicken thighs to the skillet, skin-side up.
  5. Cover and cook on low heat for about 20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
