Ingredients:

  • 2-5 lbs. spiral cut ham
  • 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the Dijon mustard, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, ground black pepper, and ground cloves to create the glaze.
  3. Place the spiral-cut ham in a roasting pan, cut side down.
  4. Brush the glaze generously over the surface of the ham, ensuring it gets into the cuts.
  5. Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil and bake for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until heated through. Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes to allow the glaze to caramelize.
  6. Baste the ham with the glaze every 20 minutes during the last hour of baking.
  7. Once done, remove from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
