Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Wrap each chicken breast with two slices of bacon, securing with toothpicks if necessary.
  4. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the bacon-wrapped chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  6. While the chicken is baking, prepare the herb cream sauce. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat.
  7. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in the chopped parsley, thyme, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Allow the sauce to simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
  8. Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes. Serve with the herb cream sauce drizzled over the top.
