Ingredients:

  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  4. Add the pizza sauce, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked noodles with the beef and sauce mixture. Mix until the noodles are well coated.
  6. Transfer the noodle mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil if desired and serve warm.
