Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup roasted bell peppers, sliced
  • 1/2 cup zucchini, sliced
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, instant yeast, salt, and sugar together.
  2. Make a well in the center and add warm water and olive oil. Stir until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover it with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  5. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  6. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape.
  7. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  8. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  9. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  10. Evenly distribute the roasted bell peppers, zucchini, mushrooms, and red onion on top of the cheese.
  11. Sprinkle dried oregano and garlic powder over the toppings.
  12. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  13. Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, then garnish with fresh basil leaves before slicing and serving.
