Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of Trader Joe's Cacio e Pepe Ravioli
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the Cacio e Pepe Ravioli and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. While the ravioli is cooking, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Once the butter is melted and bubbling, add the freshly cracked black pepper and sauté for about 1 minute to release its flavor.
  4. Reserve about 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water, then drain the ravioli.
  5. Add the drained ravioli to the skillet with the butter and pepper. Toss gently to coat the ravioli in the sauce.
  6. If the sauce is too thick, add a bit of the reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Adjust seasoning with salt if necessary.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan and a sprinkle of black pepper.
