Ingredients:

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8 slider buns
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the chicken breasts in half horizontally to create thinner cutlets.
  3. In a shallow bowl, mix breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  5. Dip each chicken cutlet into the egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to adhere.
  6. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Fry the chicken cutlets until golden brown on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  7. Place the fried chicken cutlets on a baking sheet. Top each cutlet with marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Slice the slider buns and place a chicken cutlet on each bun. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
