Ingredients:

  • 300g pasta (spaghetti or penne)
  • 2 chicken breasts, diced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 400g canned diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for serving (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  5. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss to combine with the sauce. Add the cooked pasta and mix well to coat all ingredients with the sauce.
