Ingredients:

  • 250g beef mince
  • 200g pasta (fettuccine or tagliatelle)
  • 150g mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 50g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sliced mushrooms to the skillet. Cook until the mushrooms are tender and have released their moisture, about 5 minutes.
  4. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the beef mince. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Allow to simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine, ensuring the pasta is well coated with the sauce.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
