Ingredients:

  • 12 large pasta shells
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, add a drizzle of olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add ground beef to the skillet, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  5. Once the beef is cooked, stir in the chopped spinach and cook until wilted. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  6. In a mixing bowl, combine the beef and spinach mixture with softened cream cheese and half of the Parmesan cheese. Mix until well combined.
  7. Stuff each cooked pasta shell with the beef and spinach filling.
  8. Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Arrange the stuffed shells in the dish and top with the remaining marinara sauce.
  9. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and remaining Parmesan cheese over the top.
  10. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
