Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 pound tater tots
  • 8 ounces penne pasta, cooked and drained
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or a blend)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add the cream of celery soup, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet with the beef. Stir until well combined.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked penne pasta with the beef and soup mixture. Mix until the pasta is evenly coated.
  5. Transfer the beef and pasta mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread it out evenly.
  6. Top the mixture with the tater tots, arranging them in a single layer over the beef and pasta.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the tater tots.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  9. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
