Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, reserving a bit of pasta water.
  2. In a skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels, then crumble into pieces.
  3. In the same skillet, add the butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.
  6. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Slice the cooked chicken breasts and add them to the Alfredo sauce, then fold in the cooked fettuccine pasta.
  8. Serve topped with crumbled bacon and chopped parsley.
