Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breasts, diced
  • 1 cup ground beef
  • 8 ounces pasta (penne or rigatoni)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional for topping)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sautéing until translucent.
  4. Add the diced chicken breasts and ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Stir in the broccoli and cherry tomatoes, cooking for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  6. Reduce the heat and pour in the heavy cream, mixing well. Add the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until combined.
  7. In a large baking dish, combine the cooked pasta with the meat and vegetable mixture. Mix in half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Top with the remaining cheese and breadcrumbs if using.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
