Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed
  • 1 cup bell peppers, diced (red, yellow, or green)
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced bell peppers and sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Gradually add the milk while whisking to avoid lumps, then cook over medium heat until the mixture thickens, about 5 minutes.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, steamed broccoli, sautéed bell peppers, and the creamy sauce. Mix until well combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. If desired, sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with a sprinkle of paprika before serving.
