Ingredients:

  • 4 chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Add the chicken thighs, skin-side down, and sear for about 6-7 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook for another 5 minutes until the other side is browned.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top. Add the broccoli florets around the chicken, cover, and cook for about 10-15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the broccoli is tender.
  6. Once done, garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
