Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • 2 cups potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a pot, bring water to a boil, add potatoes, and cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  2. While the potatoes are cooking, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions and mushrooms, sauté until soft, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in heavy cream, season with salt and pepper, and let simmer for another 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Meanwhile, drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, minced garlic, salt, and mash until smooth.
  5. Shape the ground beef into patties and season with salt and pepper. Grill or pan-fry the patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes per side or until cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. To assemble, place each burger patty on a bun, top generously with the mushroom and onion mixture, and serve with a side of garlic mashed potatoes. Garnish with chopped parsley.
