  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or a blend)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are browned and tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until the turkey is browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet, tossing to combine everything evenly. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
