Ingredients:

  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until the chicken is fully coated.
  3. In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spread the green beans evenly across the bottom.
  4. Spoon the chicken mixture over the green beans, spreading it out evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the chicken mixture.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with olive oil until coated. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the cheese layer.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
