Ingredients:

  • 8 large cabbage leaves
  • 200g smoked salmon, chopped
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions:

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Carefully add the cabbage leaves and blanch for 2-3 minutes until softened. Remove and drain well.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped smoked salmon, cream cheese, sour cream, finely chopped onion, dill, and lemon juice. Mix until well combined and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Lay a cabbage leaf flat and place 2-3 tablespoons of the smoked salmon mixture at one end. Roll the leaf tightly, tucking in the sides as you go to secure the filling. Repeat with the remaining leaves and filling.
  4. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Place the rolls seam-side down in a baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and cover with foil.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until heated through. Serve warm, garnished with extra dill if desired.
