Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it up with a spoon. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in cooked rice, broccoli florets, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. If desired, sprinkle breadcrumbs and shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until heated through and the top is golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
