Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 cup finely chopped carrots
  • 1 cup finely chopped green beans
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 package spring roll wrappers
  • Oil for frying
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground pork, carrots, green beans, onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper, and cilantro. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Lay a spring roll wrapper on a clean surface, with one corner facing you. Place about 2 tablespoons of the filling near the corner closest to you.
  3. Fold the corner over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly to form a spring roll. Seal the edge with a little water. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Fry the lumpia in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
  5. For the dipping sauce, mix soy sauce with minced garlic in a small bowl. Serve alongside the lumpia.
