Ingredients:

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into fry-shaped strips
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce (adjust to taste)

Instructions:

  1. In a shallow bowl, mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  3. In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
  4. Dip each chicken strip first into the flour mixture, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Fry the chicken strips in batches for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
  7. For the dipping sauce, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, and hot sauce in a small bowl until well combined.
