Ingredients:

  • 300g haddock fillets, skinless and boneless
  • 200g mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 100g gram flour
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the gram flour, baking powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Gradually add water to the dry ingredients until you reach a smooth batter consistency.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the haddock, mushrooms, onion, and garlic until well combined.
  4. Fold the seafood and mushroom mixture into the batter gently.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, drop spoonfuls of the mixture into the pan, flattening them slightly.
  6. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove the fritters from the pan and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
