Ingredients:

  • 6 corn tortillas
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 ripe avocado, diced
  • 1 stalk celery, finely chopped
  • 1 small tomato, diced
  • 1/4 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut each corn tortilla into wedges and place them in a bowl.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt. Toss to coat evenly.
  4. Spread the tortilla wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  6. While the chips are baking, prepare the avocado salsa by combining diced avocado, chopped celery, diced tomato, red onion, lime juice, and cumin in a bowl.
  7. Gently mix to combine, being careful not to mash the avocado too much.
  8. Once the tortilla chips are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  9. Serve the crispy tortilla chips warm with the avocado salsa on the side, garnished with fresh cilantro.
