Ingredients:

  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 cups diced bread (preferably stale or toasted)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers (mixed colors for visual appeal)
  • 1 cup diced cooked sausage or bacon (optional for added protein)
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh spinach
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for a bit of heat)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
  3. Add the diced bread, cheese, bell peppers, spinach, and cooked sausage or bacon (if using) to the egg mixture. Stir until all ingredients are evenly coated.
