Ingredients:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon instant yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm milk (or plant-based milk for dairy-free option)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted (or coconut oil for dairy-free option)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the warm milk, honey, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Add the chopped herbs and knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it has doubled in size.
