Ingredients:

  • 4 lamb steaks
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 pound new potatoes, halved
  • 1 pound green beans, trimmed
  • 1 cup vegetable stock
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (such as rosemary or thyme) for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix minced garlic, honey, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Marinate the lamb steaks in this mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, place the halved new potatoes in a pot, cover with water, and add a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the green beans and sauté for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Remove the lamb steaks from the marinade and grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
  5. In the same skillet used for the green beans, add the cooked new potatoes. Pour in the vegetable stock and let it simmer for a few minutes until heated through.
  6. Serve the lamb steaks alongside the new potatoes and green beans, garnished with fresh herbs.
