Ingredients:

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons dark soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, grated ginger, minced garlic, and sesame oil to create the marinade.
  2. Add the sliced beef to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add the sliced bell pepper and onion to the skillet, cooking until they are just tender, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir in chopped green onions just before serving.
  6. Serve the ginger beef over cooked rice.
