Ingredients:

  • 2 ribeye steaks, about 1 inch thick
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Remove the ribeye steaks from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.
  2. Preheat your grill to high heat. Brush the grill grates with oil to prevent sticking.
  3. Season both sides of the steaks generously with salt and black pepper.
  4. Place the steaks on the hot grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting the time as needed for your desired doneness.
  5. While the steaks are grilling, prepare the garlic herb butter by mixing the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, thyme, and rosemary in a small bowl until well combined.
  6. Once the steaks are done, transfer them to a cutting board and let them rest for about 5 minutes.
  7. Top each steak with a generous dollop of garlic herb butter before serving.
  8. Serve with lemon wedges on the side for a fresh squeeze of flavor.
