Ingredients:

  • 4 chicken thighs, bone-in, skin-on
  • 1/2 cup Heinz 57 Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine Heinz 57 Sauce, soy sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, onion powder, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Mix well to create a marinade.
  3. Place the chicken thighs in a large zip-lock bag or bowl and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag or cover the bowl and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for better flavor.
  4. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade (reserve the marinade) and sear the chicken thighs skin-side down until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
  5. Flip the chicken thighs over, pour the reserved marinade over them, and transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  7. Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
