Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix well to create a marinade.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure the chicken is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it in a baking dish. Discard the leftover marinade.
  5. Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the chicken is golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with your choice of sides.
