Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh lemon slices for garnish
  • Fresh lavender sprigs for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and the dried lavender. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and let the lavender steep in the water for an additional 15 minutes.
  3. Strain the lavender water into a pitcher, discarding the lavender buds.
  4. Add the fresh lemon juice and honey to the pitcher, stirring until the honey dissolves completely.
  5. Pour in the remaining 3 cups of cold water and mix well. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness as desired.
  6. Serve over ice cubes and garnish with fresh lemon slices and lavender sprigs.
