  • 250g egg noodles or tagliatelle
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 200g mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sweet Hungarian paprika
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
  • Grated cheese (optional, for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sliced mushrooms to the skillet. Cook until the mushrooms are tender and browned, about 5-7 minutes.
