Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced jalapenos (fresh or pickled)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup crushed tortilla chips
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapenos, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Transfer the chicken mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish and spread it evenly.
  4. Sprinkle the crushed tortilla chips over the top of the casserole for added crunch.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly.
