Ingredients:

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your waffle maker according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese, almond flour, almond milk, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  3. Pour half of the mixture into the preheated waffle maker and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 3-5 minutes. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
  4. While the chaffles are cooking, prepare the avocado cream. In a small bowl, mash the ripe avocado and mix in the lime juice and chopped cilantro, if using. Season with salt to taste.
