Ingredients:

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon (zest and juice)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and let rest before slicing.
