Ingredients:

  • 1 lb flank steak, sliced thinly against the grain
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced steak to the skillet, season with salt, pepper, and oregano, and cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Return the steak to the skillet, add the lemon juice and zest, and toss everything together for another minute to combine the flavors.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
