Ingredients:

  • 2 cups makke ka aata (cornmeal)

  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds

  • 1 cup warm water (adjust as needed)
  • 2 tablespoons ghee or oil (for cooking)
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon chaat masala
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine makke ka aata, salt, cumin seeds, and red chili powder.
  2. Gradually add warm water to the dry ingredients, mixing until a smooth dough forms. Knead for a few minutes until the dough is pliable.
  3. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each portion into a ball.
  5. Flatten each ball into a disc, about 1/4 inch thick.
