Ingredients:

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 6 slices of bacon, chopped
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  3. Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the chopped bacon with maple syrup.
