Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze

Instructions:

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add chopped sun-dried tomatoes and cook for another minute.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring well to combine. Add Italian seasoning and bring to a simmer.
  6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet, cover, and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  8. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
