Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef or pork
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until fully combined.
  2. Take a wonton wrapper and place a small spoonful of the meat mixture in the center. Moisten the edges with water and fold the wrapper over to create a triangle, pressing to seal. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
  3. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Fry the wontons in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, and chives to create the dipping sauce.
  5. Serve the wontons hot with the creamy mayo dip on the side.
