Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, and instant yeast.
  2. Gradually add warm water to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover it with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.
  7. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley.
  8. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the dough.
  9. Roll the dough tightly and place it seam-side down in a greased baking dish.
  10. Cover and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
  11. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  12. Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.
