Ingredients:

  • 2 cups oat flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 3/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup water (as needed)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)
  • 4 ounces low-fat cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine oat flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add honey (or maple syrup) and Greek yogurt to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined. If the dough is too dry, add water a tablespoon at a time until a soft dough forms.
  4. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a bagel by forming a ring with your hands.
  5. Place the bagels on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. While bagels are baking, prepare the herbed cream cheese spread by mixing the low-fat cream cheese, chopped chives, dill, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl until smooth.
  8. Once the bagels are done, let them cool slightly before slicing. Serve with the herbed cream cheese spread.
