  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 cans (15 ounces each) tomato sauce
  • 2 cans (6 ounces each) tomato paste
  • 2 cans (6 ounces each) tomato puree
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 15 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, Italian sausage, onion, and garlic until the meat is browned. Drain excess fat.
