Ingredients:

  • 1 pound sirloin steak
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Season the sirloin steak with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the steak and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the beef broth to the skillet and bring to a simmer. Stir in the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 7-8 minutes.
  5. Once the noodles are cooked, reduce the heat to low and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
  6. Slice the rested steak and serve it over the cheesy garlic butter noodles. Garnish with chopped parsley.
