Ingredients:

  • 2 cups green cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup cooked sausage, sliced (e.g., Italian or smoked sausage)
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet, heat a bit of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned and heated through, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Add the sliced cabbage to the skillet with the sausage and sauté for another 5-7 minutes until the cabbage is tender yet still slightly crisp.
