Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms to the skillet, cooking until the mushrooms are browned and tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a spoon. Cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute, then add beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Bring to a simmer.
  6. Reduce heat and stir in sour cream, mixing until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve the beef mixture over the cooked egg noodles and garnish with fresh parsley.
