Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup fresh chives, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the cold cubed butter to the flour mixture and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to work the butter into the flour until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, chopped chives, and parsley until evenly distributed.
